METHOD OF PAYMENT - We accept payment via BACS (subject to availability).

Terms & Conditions for Group Bookings

BOOKINGS - MUST be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you fail to pay in full by 8 weeks prior to arrival we will treat this as a cancellation by you and you will lose your deposit. Any bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to holiday must be paid for in FULL before they are confirmed.

CHANGES TO BOOKINGS - minor changes to bookings will incur an administrative charge of £25 and major changes e.g. substitution of persons taking holiday or a change to date of holiday or activity will incur a £30 charge per person to cover administrative costs.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY - you must do so in writing. Clients should check the terms of their Holiday Insurance cover, as cancellation charges may be recoverable on your insurance if the reason for your cancellation is covered under your policy. Cancellation charges will be calculated in accordance with the table below;

IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING - In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, we will inform you immediately and where possible, arrange for a suitable alternative or arrange for a 65% refund. (i.e. refund of total monies paid less the 35% non-returnable deposit) In such cases our liability shall be limited to the refund described above. No other compensation shall be payable.

WEATHER - The risk of skiing being adversely affected by weather conditions has to be accepted by clients. Snowsport Highland Ski School shall not be liable for a loss, delay or costs arising out of adverse weather conditions including blocked roads.

SKI HIRE, INSTRUCTION, PACKAGES - refunds are not available on unused hire, instruction or packages. At all resorts if numbers fall to 5 or under the lesson hours may be reduced and delivered as a private lesson.

  • IF THERE IS NO SNOW- If on arrival there is insufficient snow for snowsports the following policy will be implemented for GROUP customers taking the whole package only;
  • GLENSHEE - If equipment is not uplifted for the duration of the holiday a refund of £10 per person per day will be made (Glenshee lift passes are not prepaid and not included in our refund policy). If snow conditions suddenly change then your equipment will be ready for uplift and your ski package including tuition will proceed as normal. However, no refund will be made for days lost in between as per the conditions stated above on unused hire, instruction and packages.
  • WEEKENDS/2 DAY PACKAGES - Refunds are not available on weekends/2 day packages (GLENSHEE)
  • PREBOOKED hire/tuition and lift pass only packages - Refunds are not available on these pre-booked services
  • ACCOMMODATION - No refunds are payable on accommodatio

IMPORTANT - INSURANCE - We wish to remind you that you are taking part in a hazardous pursuit and we recommend you take out adequate Insurance. You may make your own arrangements or request details from this office. Click here for info.

HOTELS - Hotels are based on a minimum of 2 sharing, please ask if single accommodation is required as some hotels charge a supplement.

SELF-CATERING - Most self-catering is based on 4 sharing unless otherwise stated. A £50 deposit will be required (unless otherwise stated) and is payable on arrival (per self-catering unit) against damage, excess cleaning & late departure. The balance less any electricity where applicable, is refunded on departure.

TRANSPORT TO SKI AREA - Customers are responsible for their own transport between accommodation and the ski areas.

HIRE EQUIPMENT - All customers are responsible for hire equipment and must safeguard all equipment against loss or damage. Customers are responsible for the safe return of his or her equipment to the point of issue of such equipment. All loss and damage must be paid for.

IMPORTANT - All information shown in this website and our associated literature is given in good faith and to the best of our knowledge was correct at time of going to press. We do not accept any liability for the actions or ommissions of those involved in your holiday arrangements over whom we have no direct control and customers are in every respect at their own risk. All party leaders must circulate a copy of these conditions to each party member and each member must agree to be bound by these conditions.

BEHAVIOUR - When you book with us you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be made direct at the time to the accommodation owner or manager or other supplier. We expect all clients to have consideration for other people.

If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger or upset or distress to any third party or damage to property, we are entitled without prior notice to to terminate the holiday of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the site or other service.

We will have no further responsibility towards such person(s) including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination.

COMPLAINTS - We make every effort to ensure enjoyment and smooth running of your holiday with us. If, however, you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your holiday please contact our office immediately, whereupon we will try to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. If the complaint is regarding your accommodation, we advise you try to speak with the accommodation provider/management as soon as possible in order that your complaint be dealt with and rectified as quickly as possible.

If for any reason we are unable to rectify the problem in this manner, then please write to us within 14 days of your departure.
